Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Selling a home is not optional for most people who need to do it, and a website that excludes someone from that process is a real harm. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we have actually done

These are built into the site, not intentions:

• Semantic HTML: real headings in order, real landmarks, real lists
• A “skip to main content” link as the first focusable element
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, never removed
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for body and interface text
• Form fields with genuine associated labels, not placeholder text standing in for labels
• Form errors announced to screen readers and tied to the field they belong to
• The property form works without JavaScript
• Keyboard operation throughout, including the navigation menu, which closes on Escape
• `prefers-reduced-motion` respected — animation is disabled for anyone who has asked their system to reduce it
• Images carry alt text describing what is genuinely shown
• Text resizes without breaking layout, and the page reflows at narrow widths
• The mobile call-to-action bar can be dismissed and never covers content on first paint

Known limitations

• Third-party documents we link to, including official forms, are PDFs hosted by the agencies that publish them. We do not control their accessibility.
• Any future third-party embeds may not meet the same standard.
